Public Programme at Factory International (August 2023 – present)

The Public Programme is Factory International’s free, public-facing offer of events and activity which take place across the internal and external public realm spaces at Aviva Studios, with a particular focus on work for children, young people and communities from across the city.

Since August 2023 I have been the interim Head of Public Programme, working directly to Factory International’s Creative Director and alongside curatorial colleagues and organisations across Manchester to shape the organisation’s Public Programme strategy and to curate and deliver an inventive and audience-focused offer for Factory International’s first season at its new home, Aviva Studios. Event to date have included family workshops and drop-in activities, spoken word nights, a large Melanin Markets venue takeover, film screenings, a comedy showcase, artist talks, Factory Lates… and more!
