Royal Exchange Theatre (February – December 2015)
On Monday 9 November 2015 the Royal Exchange Theatre hosted TaY TALKS – an evening packed with thought-provoking talks, rants and creative provocations, ranging from the personal to the political, organised and delivered by young people aged 14 to 25.
The evening was co-hosted by comedian and writer Robin Ince along with young people from the Royal Exchange’s Truth about Youth programme, and featured a range of live speeches, short films, music and performance. I produced the project, working alongside a Youth Steering Group who I supported to curate and manage the final event.
TaY TALKS marked the culmination of the Royal Exchange Theatre’s Truth about Youth programme, a major partnership with the Co-operative Foundation which is challenging and changing negative perceptions of young people in the UK.
